Today, students from Westminster School's CSI class visited Superior Court Judge Philip C. Smith to learn how crime scene evidence is used in court.
The students were shown actual crime scene photos by detectives from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and allowed to “work the scene.”
The Crime Scene Investigation course offered at Westminster School explores the various scientific tools used to assemble evidence and solve crimes. Students are introduced to the psychology behind criminal trials, learning about witness testimony and jury interpretation.
