Today, Chief State Court Judge T. Russell McClelland spoke with students from Forsyth Central High School's Workplace Spanish Program.
The students observed traffic court and plea hearings as part of their visit to see interpreters in action. They heard from various professionals on the importance of qualified interpreters in legal and judicial settings. The students were accompanied by their teacher, Nancy Wallace, who is the World Language Department Chair at Forsyth Central High School.
The Workplace Spanish Program offers certification through the Court Interpreters Certification Program.
