Today, a local homeschool group came for a visit to learn about what takes place in the courthouse.
Superior Court Judge Philip C. Smith welcomed the group of homeschooled students into his courtroom during their tour of the courthouse. To the children’s delight, Forsyth County Deputies Hobbs and Avedisian were on hand with their K9 partners Calvin and Kimber. Before visiting the courtroom, the group met with Clerk of the Court, Greg Allen, and Solicitor General, Bill Finch, to learn about the history of the courthouse and the role of the Solicitor General.
