Cub Scouts from Pack 19 visited Superior Court Judge David L. Dickinson to learn about his job as a public official.
Following an overview of his role as a judicial officer, Judge Dickinson allowed them to put on a judge's robe, sit up on the bench and bang the gavel. Afterward, he presented each boy with a Certificate of Participation.
Sargent Roe and his K-9 partner, Boo Berry, made a special guest appearance to demonstrate and explain Boo Berry’s unique role as Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office official comfort dog.
