Notice of Judicial Vacancy – Chief Magistrate, Forsyth County Magistrate Court

­Notice is hereby given pursuant to O.C.G.A. §15-10-20 that the Superior Court of Forsyth County, Bell-Forsyth Judicial Circuit, is soliciting candidates for the appointment of Chief Magistrate to complete the term of Chief Magistrate Walker Bramblett which ends December 31, 2024.

The qualifications for appointment to this position are established by Local Legislation and sets forth that at the time of appointment the appointee must be 30 years old, a citizen of Georgia for at least three years, is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia for at least three years and has practiced law or served as a magistrate for seven years.
