Today, Superior Court Judge Philip C. Smith shared his insights and experience with a group of 8th grade students in his courtroom during their courthouse tour.
The students from Classical Conversations home school group came from Dawsonville, Canton and Fortified Hills. They toured the Courthouse as part of their government studies and in preparation for their upcoming mock trials. Judge Smith spoke to the students about our justice system and shared his experiences as a Superior Court judge. Detective Corporal Roe and K-9 Boo Berry were on hand to demonstrate and explain Boo Berry’s role as Forsyth County Sheriff's Office comfort dog.
