April 15, 2025 - Chief Superior Court Judge Jeffrey S. Bagley Hosts North Forsyth Middle School Student Council at Courthouse

Chief Superior Court Judge Jeffrey S. Bagley welcomed student council members from North Forsyth Middle School to the courthouse today.

During their visit, students learned about the roles of judges, attorneys, and court staff, and had the opportunity to ask questions about how the legal system operates. Judge Bagley took time to explain the structure of the courts, clarifying the key differences between federal and state jurisdictions. He emphasized the importance of understanding how various levels of courts work together to uphold justice.

Forsyth County Clerk of Courts Greg Allen also met with the students and shared the rich history of the courthouse, highlighting its role in the community over the years and explaining the responsibilities of the Clerk’s Office.

Adding excitement to the day, two K9 units from court security were on hand to demonstrate their specialized skills. Kimber and Calvin showcased their talents and their handlers explained how their work contributes to keeping the courthouse safe and secure.
